Community Information

AberdeenBy working with local communities we can raise awareness about the dangers of speeding.  Local residents, businesses and community organisations play an important role in shaping drivers’ opinions. At NESCAMP we are committed to ensuring drivers of all types of vehicle are aware of how they can help reduce the number of people that are killed or seriously injured on the roads in the North East.

How can NESCAMP work with communities?

If you think that you, your company,  school, club or organisation would benefit from resources such as posters or in-vehicle stickers, please email nescamp@grampian.pnn.police.uk.  Many organisations have benefitted from free resources provided by nescamp, presentations and other information and advice.

Presentations

Since NESCAMP was established in 2002, members of staff have been carrying out presentations to members of the public. These presentations have included Rotary Clubs, Schools, Oil Companies, Motorcycle groups and RAF bases.

We are very keen to continue this method of informing the community as it gives people a chance to ask us questions face to face and to understand the partnership more clearly, hearing it from members of NESCAMP and not just the press.
