Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA)

The full force of FOISA came into being on 01 January 2005. The Act gives the general public a right of access to recorded information held by Scottish Public Authorities.

Although the North East Safety Camera Partnership (NESCAMP) does not qualify as a Public Authority, its member partners do. Therefore, in the interests of openness, NESCAMP will act as much as possible like a public body in relation to the Act.

NESCAMP is not required by the Act to establish a publication scheme but the intention is to make available as much public interest information as possible via this website. Should the information that you are looking for not be contained within the website, contact nescamp@grampian.pnn.police.uk or via 01224 826594 (your request must ultimately be in writing) and we will respond within 20 working days in accordance with the Act.

Please note:

If you are dissatisfied with a response given, you have the right to appeal by writing to us and, if still dissatisfied, to then contact the Scottish Information Commissioner at 01334 464610 or via enquiries@itspublicknowledge.info. As NESCAMP is not a Public Authority, any subsequent successful appeal directed to the Scottish Information Commissioner would involve the appropriate member Partner and not NESCAMP directly.
