Moray Weekend Initiative

The North East Safety Camera Partnership (NESCAMP) will carry out a three day speed enforcement initiative in the Moray region this weekend (Friday 29/02 – Sunday 31/02).
This weekend follows on from their previous three-day initiative in December where almost 40 hours of enforcement took place and 23 offences were detected.
After the previous initiative, Inspector Scott Mann, who is responsible for Roads Policing in the Moray area said: ‘A large percentage of our serious and fatal collisions in Moray are caused by excessive or inappropriate speed and the deterrent that NESCAMP provide will undoubtedly help us reduce casualties’.
