NESCAMP are currently running a speed awareness campaign throughout Grampian.
Hard-hitting posters and beer mats will be placed in over 100 pubs, reminding people that the speed limit is 30mph for a reason.
The advert depicts a crash scene with an ambulance, a police vehicle in the background and the evidence of a night out in the foreground with the slogan “It’s 30mph for a reason! Don’t risk it.” The advert implies that a car has hit someone whilst on a night out.

Please note: The posters have been changed to read ‘it’s 20 for a reason’ throughout the city centre of Aberdeen.
